Perio Protect

Gum disease is commonly treated with professional dental cleanings that physically remove the bacteria. Perio Protect is a comprehensive approach to gum disease treatment. This approach combines dental cleanings with the use of Perio Protect trays. Bacteria that cause inflammation and disease are hidden deep below the gums and are extremely difficult to manage at home with just toothbrushes, rinses and floss. The Perio Tray is able to reach deep into the pockets between the teeth and gums, applying medication to infected gum tissue that cannot be reached using toothbrushes, dental floss, or mouthwashes. Contact our office @ 503-848-3606 to schedule an appointment

Tooth Decay

Cavities are known as permanently damaged areas on the hard surface of your teeth that develop into tiny openings or holes. Cavities, also called tooth decay or caries, are caused by a combination of factors, including bacteria in your mouth, frequent snacking, sipping sugary drinks and not brushing or flossing well. Tooth decay can be prevented in many ways, such as: brushing at least twice a day with a fluoride tooth paste, flossing at least once a day, switching to a healthier diet, cutting out sugary drinks and making it to your regular dental appointments.
